EFR Instructor
Overview

The PADI EFR course is designed to provide the student with the same emergency-aid techniques used by paramedics and doctors, but at a layman’s level. The course covers CPR, first aid, and primary and secondary evaluations.

Prerequisites

This course is open to all divers and non-divers.

Class Description

Classroom sessions will cover:

  • Primary Assessment
  • On-Rescuer CPR
  • Obstructed Airway
  • Control of Bleeding
  • Shock Management
  • Illness Assessment
  • Injury Assessment
Equipment Requirements:
  • PADI EFR Manual
Before Class:
  • Students should read and answer the questions in the PADI EFR Manual before the first class meeting.
